And frankly, I never used it.  I really only played with it for a few days.  Even though I&#8217;m happy to have it and I thought it was super cool, I never get around to doing anything with it at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But then a video came across my feed of a guy jamming to a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=t2HiXJohgBQ\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=t2HiXJohgBQ\">very simple synth backing track<\/a>, and it hit me, that is the PERFECT use for the Move!  I&#8217;m getting bored practicing drums  to just a metronome, and for whatever reason, playing to my favorite songs doesn&#8217;t appeal to me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So here&#8217;s my first pass at creating a simple backing track, and practice improving to it. I did not edit this or try to fix anything.  This is just me practicing for six minutes.  Mistakes and all&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-audio\"><audio controls src=\"https:\/\/johnnycarlos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/PracticeLog15-2025.11.08.MoveBackingTrack1.mp3\"><\/audio><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>What a joy it was to make this. It was so easy to create the track Move, and so easy to upload to Ableton Live.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And my favorite part is, that because I absolutely hate working on a computer, I can carry this little device around and whenever I have a free moment or two, I can whip up some backing tracks. I&#8217;m imagining myself going for a bike ride to blow some steam, stopping at a park and just vibing with it.
