It&#8217;s double time, which to me sounds like four on the floor with the snare on the &#8220;and&#8221;.  And the hi hat on everything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-audio\"><audio controls src=\"https:\/\/johnnycarlos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/PracticeLog8-2025.10.19-BasicPunkBeat120bpm.mp3\"><\/audio><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I worked up to 120bpm and I could tell that&#8217;s where it was starting to break down for me.  It was great exercise though!  I think I&#8217;m going to do this a few minutes every day to build stamina.
