I’ve been thinking about getting into RC boats. It hasn’t really been my thing over the years, despite owning an RC boat. It’s just not as interesting as cars or as challenging as airplanes. But. It is always nice to be near bodies of water, right? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ve also been thinking about the principle of using your unfair advantages. And here’s mine: I live near a lake. And there’s not a lot of water in this dry state of mine. So that, I’d say, is an unfair advantage. I should use it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This morning I took a trip there and timed it. Thirteen minutes. Now, it’s not all that convenient. I have to hike a quarter mile down a pretty steep hill that is very slippery in one section. That was always this issue for me. Doing RC boats for me means carrying the boat, as well as batteries and anything else, down that hill. There’s certainly no way to charge batteries there. I can only use what I carry. But considering it’s only 13 minutes to get there, it’s not too bad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So this is my latest idea. Get into RC boating and go chill out near some water. It’ll be relaxing. After all, it is meditation<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
