I’ve decided to no longer have dedicated blog posts as numbered luck journals for my Luck Factor book adventures. It’s so ingrained in my daily life now that anytime I write something it’s sure to be included.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Like today. Went to the coffee shop and met someone new. I’ve never bumped into him before because he arrives at the opening. He’s such a regular though that there’s a placard on the wall with his name on it. I knew I’d meet him eventually. We had a long and pleasant discussion about his electric bicycle, good places to ride, and the history of the coffee shop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As soon as he left, I happened to notice the local walking\/running club gathering. I had forgotten! Chance luck strikes again. I join them and met someone else I didn’t know. A guy who was going to do a marathon the following day. Walked with him for a couple of miles and had a nice chat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s now later in the evening and I’ve just had an epic stroke of luck. I saw a bicycle on FB marketplace that I’ve been looking for. In trying to arrange to pick it up from the buyer who lived 60 miles away, it turned out his girlfriend lives in my town and said he would deliver it to me. Wow!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The bike is awesome too. Like new. The only disappointment was the basket. It turned out to be zip tied on, not a sturdy, quality one. But still, the bike looks to have never been ridden. And it’s a 3 speed internal hub gear which is exactly what I was looking for. And it was a great price.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Luck Factor continues to deliver as well…<\/p>\n\n\n\n
