I had a dream last night that there was a contest of some kind.  And the competition was so ridiculous that I turned out to be the only contestant.  So, no matter how poorly I scored, I won.  And the prize was a pair of colorful pants that got lots of attention.  Which guaranteed me even more chance opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That&#8217;s two principles in one dream:  you gotta be in it to win it.  And you got to get yourself out there and strengthen your network for chance opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That might be the first time ever a personal development book showed up in my dreams.  It must have had quite an impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-thumbnail\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" src=\"https:\/\/johnnycarlos.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/trophy-150x150.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1127\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Later in the morning I decided to sit for a while and meditate.  That&#8217;s principle two, listen to your hunches.  And also develop them.  During my meditation a thought popped into my head:  I should go to the next city council meeting.
