My left hand strokes are starting to feel good! I have a sense of control, and it’s a feeling I never knew I didn’t have. It’s like getting a new ability in your body. It’s weird. Other notes:
- I can do this for long stretches
- I can make the stick “snap” into the pad with significant force
- The stick wants to slide towards me and I’m now able to make adjustments to my hand during the stroke
- There is a feeling of agility. I’m holding the stick lightly, but have much more control over.
- It’s also a feeling of “Wow, I got this”
I think my focused efforts are paying off. It’s as though spending time practicing something really does work. Heh. I think we’re all told that but don’t often do it or experience it.
But here’s my current progress video:
200, 000 strokes puts me at 20% of the way to 1 million. That’s quite a milestone. At my current rate, I will hit that in a few months.
Here is the first video I ever recorded of my left hand. This is one week after I started focusing on my left hand.
