I’m starting to think that there’s going to be a gradual decline in the quality of my life. Gas prices are skyrocketting. Inflation in general, has surged and I don’t see prices coming back down. My salary is not keeping up. And since I’m approaching 60 years of life, my body is in decline. I just don’t see anything in my future that is ever going to make anything easier.
I told my wife this and she thinks I’ve fallen into a deep hole. But I don’t think so.
I look at problems and challenges as something to overcome. Identify the problem. Ask myself what does the solution look like? Then list out the steps to getting there. And most importantly, begin Step 1 immediately. Simple as that.
Simple but not easy.
