Today I found the exact strawberry variety I was looking for. I was at a big box store yesterday and though they had a ton of strawberry plants, they were all mystery variety. Walked into a small hardware store today and shazam, there they were.
When I went to checkout, the cashier told me I had a 5 dollar coupon. Shazam again, I walked out with six strawberry starts for two bucks.
There’s something to this luck business.
Today I also did something at work I’ve never done before: saw my supervisor’s door open and I just walked in for some chat. Usually I go into work, get to my desk and heads down as quickly as possible. And hope nobody comes by to talk to me.
I’m growing my tribe. And strawberries.
